Anyone had recent 48-month v8 service at a main dealer?

Has anyone had a 48-month (64000m) service on a V8 at a main dealer recently?

It's a fairly big one and all dealers in the West Yorkshire/North Yorkshire area are showing £816 on the Jaguar website. This is for a P450.

I want to keep full dealer service history so will need to bite the bullet. But just wondered if the whole network has fixed price servicing, or whether anyone's got the 48-month cheaper on a V8 using a main dealer in the past few months?

Any info welcome as ever.
 
Did you enquire directly with each dealer or go through the Jaguar online booking site?

I found it cheaper using the Jaguar site.
 
Same cost for me in Buckinghamshire this week on my P575.

Originally quoted over £1,200 - took out the 2 year service plan and it dropped to about £820. As the service was so close to taking the plan out, the first payment was the full amount.

It smarts, but at least the luxury car tax drops off the VED this year!
 
My 4-year service was done last year as part of the service plan I took out after the 2nd service. As I recall, I paid approx. £1000 for the 3 years (the final service in that plan is this year).

Either see what the price is direct from the Jaguar site (as CSGMART suggested), as this is almost always cheaper than the dealer direct price, or see if your dealer is offering the rolling £30 per month plan. That's what I'll be signing up to after the next service, assuming it's still available.
 
Thanks folks - much appreciated. The quote was through the Jaguar main website. So it sounds like that's the best price I'm going to get unless the dealer is doing a monthly package.

And yes, very much looking forward to the end of the five-year luxury car tax in December!
 
Bought a four year Jaguar service plan last year to cover year’s 3 to 6 inclusive, the total cost was £2352 fixed and this is paid for monthly over the 36 month period. The price of each service is shown in the document. The major’s are Year 4 £784 and 6 £877. Don’t notice the monthly charge, keeps it simple.
 
Booking online seems to be cheapest option with main dealers - last year Jaguar Stockport quoted me about £50 more when I phoned them so I said OK I will book online then to which they said Ok we will match that then. Then when I got the bill think it was about £30 less again, why didnt they quote that in the first place!
 
Got a price last week for my 2021 P450 at £640 on Jaguar website, Mine is RWD. I assume the AWD must require some maintenance (oil change) hence the additional cost.
 
I’m in Worcestershire. Just searched online on Jaguar website and for the 48 month service at Coventry JLR the price is also £816. That would be for my P450 AWD MY21.
