Any colour you like…

It seems Sytner have taken a punt on shifting 104 of the last F-Types to come off the line - some decent savings as long as you like black or grey!

I noticed a long line of F-Types in the car park at Jaguar Sytner in Stockport when my car was serviced on Friday. Plus a nice unregistered 575 Dark Grey Convertible in the Showroom for £75K

Have to say Stockport dealer experience better than Derby last year although pricing was a bit hit and miss but - online quote was £276, Phoned to book said it would be £356 so I said I will book online then at which point they dropped to £276. When I get the bill was £258 :) - which I didn't question :D

Where are the last colourful ones? Surely some Giola green were made prior to end of run?

They were obviously using up the boring colours, saving the nice ones for the forthcoming EVs.

I bet there's a lot of disgruntled people who have bought cars in the last 6-12 months. Even if they negotiated a bit of discount their residuals have just taken a massive hit!

That reminds me of Henry Ford’s famous statement:

You can have the car in any colour you like as long as it’s black🤣

He did that to speed up production - the early cars were made in a variety of colours (well colors, he couldn't spell!) but they took too long to dry so he found one that dried more quickly, and it was only available in black.
