Air conditioning

New to F Types - so it may be normal

My Air Conditioning is not good at all - seems intermittent - seems like the car has to be given the beans before it will actually kick in - tick over no AC

Is this normal - Are any air conditioning foibles I need to know about ??

My aircon is ice cold from virtually switch-on. Maybe yours needs a regas? Do you run it on Auto? That way it prevents the seals from drying out and gas leaking away.
 
I would suggest getting a regas every 3-4 years. The rubber hoses in any AC system are not fully gas tight and the gas can permiate through the rubber.
Well R134A can anyway.
