2020 model year f type

Hi,

Really great to see you on this forum, I’m sure you’ll be appreciated by all of us!

Can you tell me when the 2020 model year cars will be available? I’ve heard Feb 2019. Also would like know when Apple CarPlay will be available if possible?

If history is anything to go by MY2020 will start production in mid Feb 2019. Normally you can order the new model year from mid Dec so for MY2020 Jaguar will be taking orders Dec 18. For some unknown reason the MY is one year before the actual year. So if you buy a car mid 19 it likely to be a MY 2020. :D
 
Thanks Fez, what’s weird is that Land Rover don’t do that!

My heart wants to buy now but me head says wait until next year!

Thank you for your enquiry.

I can confirm that there will be an announcement around September 2019 in regards to the purchase of MY2020 vehicles.

To keep up to date with the latest news from Jaguar I would advise that you visit our Jaguar Newsroom.

Our InControl Department are currently working on implementing Apple CarPlay into our vehicles, they have advised that this feature is coming soon. Unfortunately they are unable to provide date at this time.

Haha! You’re right but there are other factors for me as I’m working abroad at the moment. Buying now will mean I only get to drive it a few weeks of the year :cry: Ordering the 2020 year model when it becomes available should (hopefully) mean the car gets delivered as I finish abroad :D
