I just bought my 2015 Firesand R Coupe in January here in Sweden, so I haven't really had the chance to really test it. But my plans are to during the coming month or two:
- restore the original springs (currently is lowered)
- retrofit "black pack" (currently has chrome trim)
- change to carbon blade wheels from the current set (silver gyrodynes)
- get it fully detailed with DITEC Ceramic Ultra coating
I have bought all the parts for the black pack retrofit, as well as the wheels. I'm just waiting for the worst of Swedish winter to pass before I dare taking it out of the garage.
In terms of trips, that's actually the reason I bought the car. Me and some friends got a week free from our wives and kids this summer, for which we are supposed to buy a car each and go on a road trip through Europe. Exact trip not confirmed yet, but one proposed itinerary is the following:
The idea is to get some Autobahn driving, some good quality alpine road time (e.g. Stelvio Pass) as well as some time in Monaco and Champagne before heading back. If anyone has good suggestions for alternate route, I'd be grateful for any tips! We're open to anything at this point!
