I may be interested, would need to check the diary. If looking at the Brentwood area then the George and Dragon at Mountnessing may be a possibility, service can be a bit slow but they have a big car park. If a Sunday then may need to book.

Stock is nice but what’s parking like.

Lunchtime parking a group of alloy bodied sports cars might be a challenge wherever you go ...

In my youff I was a bar man at the G&D Mountnessing ... haven’t been for years ... Stock is as you say a lovely village but the pubs I’m aware off are small

What about aiming for the Haningfields area ... selection of pubs and garden centres with good parking options ... or maybe Finchingfield ... gets busy depending on weather ...

Hi, John-Handy, Weekend driver is my 98 NSX-T .... as per avatar ...

Hello

I would love to but to some rude private PM's I am leaving the forum

best regards .. my account is closing

Senninha - Possibly when it was a chef & brewer pub? It has been modernised and is popular locally, as I say service can be a bit slow but large car park and outside space in good weather makes it attractive. If you are passing worth a stop.

Finchingfield, I am trying to remember what parking was like, I don’t know the pubs in the Haningfields area so can’t offer any suggestions.

Hopefully a few more people from the area will chip in with suggestions.

Kaspa - don’t let some idiot’s comments stop you.

Kaspa, don't let idiots drive you away from something you love.
Let the moderators know who it is and they should ban them

Axe and compass on the way to great dunmow? Great roads, big show off gravel car park runs all along the side of the pub. Seen classic car groups in there before. Jess

P.s. agree timbo, don't let trolls put you off kaspa.

Cool,

Axe and Compass looks nice and it is close to the M11 so easy access for people.

So if you guys are ok with this I will drop by the Axe and Compass this weekend to check it out and see if we can get some reserved parking ;)

Everyone ok with the 22nd?

I will edit the first post please reply and ill add your names :)

Please don't leave Kaspa.

Sadly there are idiots everywhere in life.

I have every hope that this forum will be the biggest and best F Type forum in the UK. if it turns out anything like the MKIV owners club I was previously with it will be great.

Would love to meet you and fellow owners in Essex these sites help us all and forge a good community. (Fools will be left by the wayside! ;) )

Best Regards

John

Shame. 22nd April is national drive it day and I have entered my E Type for an Essex charity rally from Rochford to Stowe Maries Great War Aerodrome via the lovely Essex countryside. Have a great day everyone, let me know when you plan the next one!

Mike

Axe and Compass is good for me as well. Still new to F-Type ownership - one week!

(I thought I'd replied to this last night!)
