One thing I would say is that personally for me, the other thing that drew me was the muscle car V8 RWD thing. I love a car that really can slide and mine is perfect for that. I wouldn't have bought an F if the only option was AWD or V6 personally.
But I can see why many like the AWD, particularly when it's wet. The car is a proper handful and not easy to drive fast when it's damp - that's what I bought it for but many would think that's a bit mad.
