Wheel well components identification help needed!!

Hi everyone, this is my first post and just bought my beautiful and also beautifully damaged F-type this week, so I am very excited to fix everything wrong with it and get back to it's former glory.

Can anyone please tell me what this component is as I have no clue and after talking to the sales guy at Jaguar, I am still no closer to finding the part. If you have a part number that would also be very helpful.
Mine is burnt beyond all recognition and have no idea why it's there, but just looks like a piece of plastic to me.

The part number you require will be on here https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/hierarchy/id/152/brand/jaguar/ so it's a matter of searching for it.

Looking at your first pic I can see the rear wheel is very close to or touching the kerb....be careful that you don't scrub the tyre and scuff the alloy wheel!
