Wheel Fitment - Sanity Check.

Newbie here, hello everyone. :)

I'm fancying a set of lightweight rotary-forged (roll-formed) alloys. I'm hoping they'll be a blend of low unsprung mass, sensible price, acceptable looks, decent strength and acceptable Noise/Vibcation/Harshness? Current favourite set are (9KG) 19" Bola FLD:

How does this sound guys and girls? Center Bore: 63.4 mm PCD: 5x108

8.5Jx19 ET48 - 245/40/19 94Y
9.5Jx19 ET25 - 275/35/19 100Y (Probably Goodyear Asym 5)

Thanks in advance, Mark

Have I posted in the wrong section? If so, apologies, I am new!

Also, are there any usual/known ways of putting a P300 on a Diet?

No, right section. I suspect the lack of responses is because no-one has an answer.

If you want a lightweight car, maybe the F-Type isn't for you. The guys on the US forum have reduced weight by using lighter forged wheels, and swapped the battery for a lithium one, which saves quite a lot, but will put a strain on your wallet. However, the F-Type is a bit of a porker as it's more a luxury cruiser than a hardcore sports car. In its defence, it looks fantastic and goes very well.

I don't think it has to be coded, but fitment will depend on the size and shape - you may have to be creative with the existing hardware.

Hmmm, yes, you could be right.

It says: “Suitable for up to 5.0L and 10 cylinder engines” , but maybe I should take that with a pinch of salt?! I wonder how many Ah it takes to start a 2 litre engine in winter?
