What's happened here!?!

Cleaned the car yesterday as per normal and noticed on both sides the bottom section behind the doors and the runners (can't think of a better descriptor!) down the side have gone very murky and flat. Like there is a film on top.

Can was bought for a main dealer 2 months go. GardX put on then. Only used GARDX cleaning products so far.

Any ideas?

No polish or protection on that section?
Has that panel been replaced at any point?
 
Looks a bit like ppf already on those panels from your photo....
 
The whole car was protected and i've washed it several times and it has all come up very well. This came out of the blue yesterday.

May I ask want ppf is?
 
Paint protection film. If you look closely at an edge you should see the edge of the film. It looks like it has been applied but cant understand why it should show up considering car has been washed before. Suggest a trip to the dealers before you start doing anything, must be under warranty
