What Colour?

Over the years I have owned many many cars......as a lot of us here have. Some just scream the make of the car....MGB GT Tartan red. TR7 Persian acqua. My current car...(up for sale) SLK 350 dark shark grey. Citroen c5, deep med blue.....Range Rover white........BUT what is the best most complimentary colour for the Jag?

I initially thought of the reds....Caldera...too bright. Firenze,,, nice and smokey. The greys...but NOT the light ones. BRG....marmite for sure. White....not on my muddy lanes. No chance.

So what is your favourite colour...

Hopefully my car will sell next week ish when it goes on the market. I dont want carwow/wbac/motorway prices but.......
 
The F-Type looks good in any colour, and from any angle. That's really all you need to know, just buy the colour that appeals to you.
 
I like any colour other than black (because black shows every spec of dirt / dust). As scm says, just buy the colour you prefer.
 
When I was "browsing" I liked the look of Portofino Blue and Giola Green, but I'm very happy with my BRG with black pack. Regardless of colour and MY, they are lovely looking cars and I think we're a lucky bunch to be driving them!
 
I fell in love with Italian Racing Red when the car was first launched. My views haven't changed.

I have the standard salsa red but probably prefer the firenza red (ahem italian racing red) or just white with carbon exterior or perhaps the blue or perhaps .....
The F-Type for me is not a Jaguar of old which suited more classy sophisticated subdued colours rather an angry reinvention of the brand (certainly pre-OPF V8s) that suits more in ya face colours.

Never seen a brown one before (midlands gold), looks lovely!
Yet to see one I really don't like.
 
Ideally I'd have a stable of F-Types in different colours and pick the one that matched my mood.
That Italian Racing Red above would be my first choice I think to go alongside my BRG.

I saw another F-Type leaving Mike Allen in Swindon at lunchtime, which I think was in this same red. It is quite stunning in the flesh.
 
Italian racing red for me too, colour changes depending on the light

BRG. Enough said. :) IRR is up there too though and I think silver is another brilliant and surprisingly rare colour for the F-Type.

I do prefer the bolder colours. The racing Blue, the racing red......

I had a joke with my wife yesterday when we were waiting at a junction. We were counting the colours of cars that passed, white, white, grey, black, black, silver, grey, black, white, black,black.....
That being said, every picture posted on here has me saying "yes, that's really nice". They're all great if there's an F Type underneath. The black panoramic roof perhaps even works best with a white or silver car.
I also like one particular Jag F Type black colour which has a subtle coloured metallic fleck.
I probably post this every time someone asks about colour.
 
Black can work quite well, that's for sure.
