Wanted: Heated Flat Bottom Sports Steering Wheel

Hi all,

As per the description, I am wanting to upgrade my steering wheel to the flat bottom sports wheel - must be heated. I know this is a long shot but if anyone out there has one or is selling their F-Type soon and fancies a swap + cash for a standard wheel, please let me know.

Thanks
Andrew

Thanks for that will call them tomorrow - assume pretty hefty price, over £1k?

I'd think so yes. Even in the US they're $1450 new.

Anyone know why they are always 2016 to 2020. Surely they must fit the facelift cars too?

Looks a bit cheaper on the official Jag site. Although it states pre 18MY and mine is a 20MY - no idea why they wouldn’t work across the whole model range?

I believe it requires a shorter trim piece at the bottom than the round wheel. Does anyone know if the wheel would come with this?

That's not correct. I bought a flat bottom steering wheel on my last F-Type and transferred everything over. Can't believe I sold it :( :(

That’s good to hear - must be an optical illusion from the pics I have seen. Thanks for letting me know…

Where were you all when I was selling mine? 😂

Someone got a bargain!

I've just purchaseda used one from the USA, including taxes it was less than £420, the button pack has cost £85 and now I'm just looking for the heating module C2C7505.
Does anybody know if this is a standard part across the years, my car is MY19.
Regards

Where did you get that from in USA as that sounds a decent price and would be interested in that upgrade myself, might be worth looking on ebay for that module there was a couple on there recently, not sure if its any cheaper than main stealers though.

Found a module on eBay, £110 which was the cheapest I could find. The wheel was also from eBay, I just searched internationally and made a n offer they accepted. I believe they were called Noma Autoparts. Very impressed, the wheel arrived within 5 days via FedEx.

One for sale on eBay from the US here but I don’t fancy taking the risk - with import duties it will cost c£400 and also needs a retrim so probably £600 total. Will call local Jag dealer tomorrow to get a price….

Did you get a price? Still trying to figure out if they fit the facelift car, see no reason why not but website does say 2016 to 2019.

So busy at work last week that I didn’t get round to it - will try this week.

Fitted the wheel today using a very helpful YouTube video for help. Including swapping the button pack it probably only took around half hour.
Very pleased with the result.
