Views on Extended Warranty

My Jaguar Warranty is coming up in April and I got a quote from Warranty Direct which looks to be a fair bit cheaper than the Jaguar extended warranty. I included everything possible in the quote including unlimited labour cost in case it would need to go to a main dealer.

Emissions System Protection
Multimedia System Protection
Total Premium
10 monthly payments of £52.13
or 1 payment of £521.31
10 monthly instalments can be set up via Direct Debit below. Credit and Debit card, and PayPal payments are also available for single payments.

Do they use genuine parts or second hand like some insurance companies do .. for me I will be using jaguar extended warranty with out doubt

As I understand it, if you pay for the unlimited labour, you can take it to a main dealer, so yes all parts would be genuine and new.

How much was the Jaguar extended warranty and what does that include as a comparison?
 
From memory I think it was about £700 last year. Included most things as does the quote from Warranty Direct. Not sure on the renewal cost for this year yet.

Also I believe (as have just checked) with Jaguar you get Jaguar assist as well ... but your cover sounds very comprehensive, for me I would go for the Jaguar warranty as a extra piece of mind ... but this is purley my opinion :)

I would go for the Jaguar extended for the additional £180 pa.
Whilst the Jaguar warranty is still probably provided by a third party, WD does have some negative feedback, which I have not heard about with the Jaguar option.
