Hiya folks. Me again.
There's a new listing for a VERY low mileage example just popped up on autotrader, and I gotta say, I've got a good feeling about this one. After the close call with that last one though, just wanna be sure and get the expert opinions of your wonderful selves.

Here it is. Looks in good condition, it's got the better vents on the hood that let less water in, the DRL are pictured working, only 1 owner with full Jaguar service history (I've messaged the dealer to see if they can send across some pictures, I'll post when I have them), and just shy of 12½k miles.

Will have a look tomorrow.
I honestly wasn't searching Facebook for this:

(The car in question in the background).

Looks like Clarkson's F-Type. .)

That's very low mileage for that age. Makes one wonder if it has been driven enough. Maybe just a weekend toy and I guess the service history will reveal if it was driven more or less regularly or if it for some reason stood still for several years which wouldn't be good.

It's a pre-facelift so the DRLs won't be an issue.

The fact it shredded its rear tyres in 9k tells me it’s not had a gentle life, when actually driven..

My rears haven't lasted more than 10k miles in any of the 4 Jaaaags I've had, and I'm not a shredder (but I do like a bit of straight line acceleration)!

I agree but yours will be fully serviced and a cared for car
It’s just a red flag alongside other points to me.

Car 20293

Polaris White 340 convertible.

The car was actually manufactured back end of 2014 and PDI at the dealers in December 2014 but was unregistered until 29th May 2015 with 6 miles. This is typical of a showroom car or unsold customer order as it also moved between dealers.

My only comments from the pictures are the nearside bumper alignment is poor. Tyres usage appears normal, the rears were called for edge wearing which might just be tracking.

The reason the services VS age of car is out because 1st service was 9 months late, 2nd/3rd/4th service were 3-9 weeks late (which is OK but it all adds up over time). The car must of been off the road in 2022 at least a year because there is no MOT and no service. It is also due a service in a couple of weeks. None of the services are itemised.

As always recommend getting a car vertical check and ask why it was off the road for a year.
