V8S Spark plugs

I know the spark plugs on the V8 are a bit of a pig to get at. Does anyone know how much they cost to change ? Cheers.

Sorry to reply without a full answer, but it’s not cheap.
On the XK it was a few hours labour as the rear ones are a pig to get out and also pipes from cooling and supercharger need removing. Plugs themselves you can get online for under £100 but will be more from jaguar.
Also, I’m not sure when they need replacing on your model, but on the XK it was 100k miles or 10 years; think on F-type lower, but not a frequent job unless there a problem.

Surely this is not a job the owner will undertake ? My car just had the 4 year, 104000km service, but they didn't do the spark plugs

I researched this as mine would have been due in October. I didn’t get a quote, but got a figure of approx £500 with some Googling. That made the 6 year service £1000+.

Thanks for the replies guys. No it's not a job I would undertake myself. I am due my 6yr service and the V8 states every 6yr for plug change however my car has only done 17300 miles.
Got a quote from the indy i use for £218 +vat fitted so i might as well have them done even if it just to keep the service history up to date.
Thanks
