Thank you for the welcome folks, my immediate feeling between both cars is that they ride quite similar but the jaguar feels more direct and just more modern feeling inside. Fortunate enough to have the remus exhaust fitted too so not that bothered about losing the old V8 soundtrack. The vantage was grey in colour and immediately noticed the ultra blue paintwork gets noticed more.
I actually was looking for a 2017 V12 Vantage, with the seven speed dogleg manual, when I bought the 2016 V8 manual, but prices here in the US on those cars is stratospheric!
Great looking car, love the Ultra Blue too.
I moved from a V8 Vantage to a BMW M4 Competition and now in the V6 F-type.
All GREAT cars, but different to drive. The Vantage has an amazing sound, with manual box, was a modern classic to own. Not a car for every day driving.
Thats were the M4 came into its own, used everyday, I put 40,000 miles on it in 2 years. Huge pace and with DCT almost too much power. Lovely car thou and technology in the cabin was very sophisticated. Missed the sports car feel though. Hence the F-type now. 2 days in and loving it.
