Hi there

Got my insurance renewal through from A-Plan for the SVR and they want £1200 which seems a bit much, based on tracker, Incontrol Secure is accepted as is CAT6 thatcham. I am under 40, 7yr NCB and good postcode, was expecting to pay less.

Checked with Admiral, they quoted £820 so near £400 saving, tried a few others but they won't quote online, that normally means bend over and lube up, lol.

So to the other V8 owners with cars insured valued over 60k what are you paying annually and who are you insured with please?

Just a bit short of 60k.
F Type R, V8 coupe. A little over £400 with Direct line and NCD protected. 5K miles p.a.

There is another thread on here discussing the very same.
Try a search.

2014 R Coupe V8 RWD, just under 50k cost and 9 years NCD and I paid 431 pounds with protected NCD.

I'm early 50's and AL8 post code.

I suggest putting your wife (if present) on the policy, it saved me over 50 pounds
