im looking at doing the VAP tune. ive been speaking with David Appleby.
ive just got the car back from some fun warranty stuff with Jag so i think its now safe to play with (warranty is about up anyway).
what i was after, is anyone here done the work? on top of that, anyone fancy a quick meetup one weekend to demo it? : ) maybe at one of the brekkie meets or similar.
ive done the forum research here and stateside, people rave but the feedback from reading text based format is just, 'its great'. would be nice to see it actually working.
also in case anyone else is in the market, i spoke to paramount too about the same tuning, and they were insistent on fitting a bigger supercharger when fitting the lower pulley.
ive spun my F type around a couple of track days, and not even had the engine fan come on. i cant see this being a big issue? any opinions on this?
(but i did notice some awesome break fade! it doesnt like stopping from 110-20 on a couple of back to back long straights.
