tyre issues

I recently fitted a new set of PS4s tyres to my 2019 SVR and Ive had no end of issues since with the rear end. The standard 305 30 R20 tyres were not available and so I went with 305 35 R20 on the rear.

Since they were fitted I have a strange noise from the back end at slow speed which I though my be the tyres rubbing somewhere but after checking they do not seem to be hitting anywhere. More concerning is that at anything more than a gentle push of the throttle the traction control is kicking in and reducing power, I didn't have this issue before they were changed.

Is it possible that the small change in profile from 30 to 35 is enough to be causing the wheel speed sensors to think I am losing traction?

thanks in advance

Thats a tire size increase of 4.23%
The recommended maximum tolerance is 1.5% so this is sure to upset the cars DSC.

Thanks for your response, you have confirmed my fears

is there any way to re program the DSC for this different tyre size?

Ive seem people go from 19" to 20" wheels so surely this would cause the same issues

The 19” wheels will use the higher profile tyres to compensate.

Ignoring the out of round on both profiles you have increased the distance travelled per revolution by 96mm, so the dsc will be reacting to this.

If you go up on wheel size you go down on tyre profile to keep the overall wheel/tyre size the same, check out web site - will they fit . Com can in put a range of sizes to see difference any change would make
I am surprised the pet who fitted them didn’t say anything
