Hi Timbo,<br /><br />I have one on my F-Type Coupe. There are effectively two versions approved by Jaguar for fitment to their cars. One is Jaguar Trackstar CAT 6 and the other is Jaguar Trackstar CAT 5. The difference is that the latter one comes with additional protection for your cars key. You get a dongle which is recognised by the car and so if your key is stolen your car will be tracked and you will get a call. The CAT 5 comes with full European cover and both have free recovery of the vehicle. There is a difference in the price and running costs of the two systems but I went for the CAT 5 in the end. You can expect to pay £749 for the system with three years monitoring costing £549. I had mine fitted by the supplying dealer as there was little difference between them and after market pricing. Both systems come with insurance certificates which you can print off and retain, just in case! Great system which just works perfectly. They soon call you if you forget to carry your dongle and the CAT 5 system allows for remote engine cut off to give the police chance to catch up!!<br /><br />Hope this helps.<br /><br /><br />Regards,<br /><br />Scoobydoo<edited><editID>scoobydoo</editID><editDate>2015-06-25 13:26:50</editDate></edited>

Unless you specifically want a tracker it might be cheaper to change your insurance company. Not all require one.
