At buying a V6 S.

Either will try and sell my SLK350 or trade...obvs which one I will get dosh for, but hey ho, waving cash at a dealer might get a few hundred off.

Been reading more and more about the coolant pipes etc that go under the supercharger/block etc.....seems a bit of a worry as how the F can I check that on inspection....

You can't easily pay cash for a car when talking about significant amounts due to the rules HMRC put around it, difficulty to get it, security, etc. so I assume you mean pay by bank transfer, as opposed to credit,
In my experience dealers also aren't interested in full payment as a reason to discount, in fact they make commission on finance and it's easier to load such onto the total that way, so they'll push that.

I'd not worry unduly about leaking pipes. Forums are full of the stories of an item once it breaks a few times. Do the usual checks or inspection to ensure nothing untoward or evidence of leaks and you'll also likely have a warranty from a dealer, or at a minimum, consumer law protection for 6 months.

Happy hunting :)

^ This. Unless you find a dodgy back street dealer. ;)

waving cash was just a comment...I wont be going in with a wad of £50's FFS....c'mon.

If you read the full sentence you’d have noted I assumed you meant bank transfer and commented on that basis.
