Supercharger housing - should I be concerned?

Was washing my car today and when opening the bonnet to dry up any water that seeped through, I removed the engine cover and had a look at the supercharger housing. I have the more closed-style vent covers so it's only a couple of droplets that enter the top of the engine.

I'm not sure if I'm looking at surface level oxidation around the seams, or if it's a hint of something worse. When gently rubbing it with my finger, it turned into a layer of dust.

Any thoughts? Pictures attached below - 1st and 2nd pic are from the right-hand side, 3rd is from the rear and 4th is from the left-hand side.

I'm assuming you're not having any coolant level issues? If so, the surface level oxidation that you can see in your pics is nothing to be concerned about.
My car is similar.

Thanks for the reply RPSN, I did notice that the coolant level was a few millimeters below the MIN marking.

Truthfully I'm not sure when the coolant was last topped up (hasn't been done in my 2 years of ownership) but I'll top it up this weekend and keep an eye out on the level. No obvious leaks to note either.
 
Just an update on this, I had a look at the coolant level shortly afterwards and noticed it was a few millimeters below the MIN line.

I topped up the coolant to just below the MAX line, and 1 week + 320 miles later it's remained at that level, so hopefully that rules out any obvious leaks in the system for now.

I'll update this again in a few weeks.

Good to hear the oxidation is normal, I noticed this on my engine today too! Glad to hear the coolant stayed put 👌
 
Thanks Thomas, and same here, glad the coolant didn't drop at all.

Just an update (hopefully the last one), 1 week later and the coolant level hasn't dropped at all... phew!
