Stop Start Problem

Hello. Just had to send my F-Type in to get a minor electrical issue fixed. Got it back and the stop start system is no longer working. My theory is the technicians, for various reasons, might have deactivated it using this method (http://www.ftypeownersclub.co.uk/forum/how-to-permantley-disable-the-eco-stop-start_topic330.html#.VcEIdRFEx0s.) I thought maybe they forgot to reconnect it so thought I'd check. Sure enough when I checked the boot there is indeed a cable that is disconnected (see picture). Is this the cable that deactivates the stop start? And if so, where should it be plugged into? Because I can not see where it goes (sorry if I'm being blind). Appreciate this may be a complete red herring. But thought I'd ask here as it may save my car having to go back to the workshop if it's an easy fix. Thanks in advance for any tips!

That white plug is for initial transportation and doesn't connect to anything once the car has been PDI-ed and prepped for sale. There are posts elsewhere on here about permanently disabling stop/start - search is your friend.

Try recharging the battery. If it is below a certain voltage the system prevents stop/start until the battery has charged up to a certain level. This can take some time by just driving the car but it will automatically come back on. I expect the battery was drained low, while they worked on your original fault.
