Slight ticking sound from engine

I viewed a 2017 F Type today (the 400 sport for those of you following the other thread). The car sounded fine while running but when I lifted the bonnet I noticed a slight ticking sound. Is this normal or a potential problem?
 
My 400 has always been tapping from cold which eases as engines warms up and is non existent when fully warm.

I believe this is because it does not have hydraulic lifters, or something, it's on the forum somewhere.

Had since 6 miles. Now 47,500. No issues and never used a drop of oil. Check oil level and ticking tapping should ease/stop when fully up to temperature.
