RWD V6 Coupe with Active Exhaust vs AWD V6 S

Hi, I'm looking to finally get an F-Type.

My question is the AWD V6 S worth the extra money? (its about £5k more). I don't think i'd mind the RWD over AWD but I've heard the V6 S has the active suspension which make it more comfortable, is the difference that noticeable?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you considered the RWD V6 S instead? It's a few grand cheaper than the AWD version.

As well as 380PS you get the limited slip differential, high performance braking system with red calipers, torque vectoring by braking, sports suspension with adaptive dynamics, switchable active sports exhaust, configurable dynamic mode with dynamic-i display, etc, on the ‘S’ versions.

Service/maintenance costs on the RWD are also lower than the AWD.

I find the sports suspension with adaptive dynamics on the RWD V6 S very firm yet comfortable.

RWD or AWD is up to you, your circumstances, where you live, climate, usage, preference etc. Drive both and get a feel of the difference. I drove both and chose AWD for my own reasons.

Options vary on cars depending on model, model year (MY) and options selected. Lookups are available to help new buyers.

I would pay the extra for an S, but wouldn't pay a premium on top of that for AWD but as others have said, it comes down to personal choice

Same for me. I went for the V6S for the extras but wouldn't pay for AWD, which to me is counter intuitive to a fun driving car.
I will never get near the ultimate performance of either on UK roads... LSD takes care of any quick accelerating out of a gravel strewn junction
