“Road hazard” avoidance / Driving “safety”

I have been looking into “driving safety” systems which can be stealthily/discreetly installed into the F-Type.

I have come across two systems, one called “Target Blu Eye 2” and the other “Laser Track Flare”. Having looked into these systems, I see that the “Laser Track Flare”, which is a laser activated garage door opener, is designed to integrate perfectly with the “Target Blu Eye 2” warning system. With this combination setup, not only do you have useful awareness and plenty of prior warning while driving when an ambulance or fire engine, or indeed another emergency vehicle, is parked or approaching from either direction (it detects the emergency services dedicated digital communications signals) so that the driver can safely keep out of the way, but the laser system also detects and signals to your garage door laser sensors, so that they are automatically detected and activated as well, giving a visual and audio warning to avoid crashing into the garage door as it rises. There is also the option to temporarily jam other laser signals for 5 seconds as well as getting a warning, so that you don’t inadvertently open or crash into other users garage doors. All very discrete, the warning lights of the Target Blu Eye 2 being installed behind the glass of the rear view mirror. These integrated features would be really useful I think to avoid emergency services vehicles and avoid crashing into laser operated garage doors.

I think as well as the Target Blu Eye 2/Laser Track Flare combo, the addition of a Road Angel Pure One 2.4 would also keep a careful driver informed of various other significant road hazards, as well as having the benefit of a GPS speedometer which changes colour to red if the driver “inadvertently creeps” above the speed limit.

It is Important for us to keep out of harm’s way in our F-Types, particularly during times of spirited driving within speed limits, as I know some of us occasionally do. :D

Anything that has the ability to jam such emergency service signals sounds illegal to me.
And if you can’t avoid crashing into a nearby garage door (is that really what this device is designed for?) maybe a visit to Specsavers would be a good idea.

LOL. Yeah, it would of course not be correct to use it for any illegal purpose. The detection features are all legal and are for safety purposes. You wouldn’t want to crash your F-Type into garage doors or inadvertently open other people’s garage doors either, but that part of the system should be switched off whilst driving on public roads.
