Returning to the fold

Hello,

New forum member here though on my second F type. First was a 2021 P450 RWD Reims edition. Which I changed for a 992.1 Carrera 4S for a couple of years. But now back with a 2022 P450 AWD in BRG. Currently with a stage 1 tune.

Thanks, The Porsche is in many ways is a better car. Steering better feel. PDK very fast. Launch breath-taking and depreciation minimal. However it was a bit too track focused for me and maybe even a little soulless. I am enjoying the more comfortable ride of the F type, the increase in cabin and luggage space. Also road noise is a bit less tiring than the 992 and the Ftype exhaust note much more interesting.

Regarding ownership, the 992 was very reliable with the exception of battery drain. Its probably easier to do your own work or maintenance on the Jaguars so a bit more involving.

The big difference is the F-Type just feels a bit more special and IMO looks better. Its a case of the worse car being better :)
