Rear spoilers

For the folks with the additional rear spoilers.... Do they auto raise like the standard spoiler or does having the spoiler fitted mean that the raise feature is disabled?

It would have to mean disabling the auto raising of the rear spoiler.
I'm not sure you can fit the active SVR wing to a non SVR unless it was static.

Thought so. Seen the spoilers on some of the R models and new v6 models (coupes) but wondered what happened above 50mph where the standard spoiler would normally activate.

Newbie here ..... and this is an old post I know .....


However, I changed my standard convertible boot spoiler today. All plug and play. Took an hour beginning to end. No cutting, drilling holes .... nothing.

It’s works exactly as it should.

I managed to get a good used spoiler and cover plate but had to buy the mech new.

Electrical plugs fit
 
My car was built with the fixed spoiler and it is fixed! I think the SVR spoiler raises, but the "normal" F-Types with the fixed spoiler doesn't. I think the F-Type looks better with the fixed spoiler, but that's down to personal taste.
