Rear Diff Oil Change

Hi, my P380 AWD is due for its 4 years service, which includes read diff oil change.
Tired of dealer's performance, opted to tackle the job.
Car on its wheels, removed first the refill plug (8mm hex), and some oil started dripping slowly but surely.
Rushed to open the bottom plug and got all the oil out, black but no sludge and just a little fine metal powder layer on the plug magnet.
But the surprise is that I got a bit more that one good litre of oil out
With what's on the floor, almost 1.1 litre.

Now in doubt whether I refill with the recommended wet fill of 0.815-0.830 litre, or try to push in 1.1 litre?
Has there been a change for the diff capacity for MY20 onwards?
Grateful in advance for recommendations!

Well obviously as this is the first diff oil change, it was originally filled at factory with 1.2L which is the V8 dose 🙄.
Have now filled with 0.84L and called it over.

Mine was thick and black after 4 years.

Was considering every 2 years but car was doing 8k miles per year and now only 4k so will be doing every 3 years and will also include front diff on the next one.

Car has 13kkm, the oil was pretty black but very fluid, no sludge.
I could hear a faint thump starting when turning at low speed, which I am sure was not there before.
Will keep an ear to monitor change.
Have filled with Redlxne oil, which have been using on my other vehicles for few years now.
Plan on doing this every 2 years or 15kkm, whichever comes first.
It's a 30min job.

Currently: Belgium (and like most folks around: fed up by jlr dealers and even the so far noted useless customer service).
