Hi<div><br></div><div>Sorry this is the only way I can really describe what I am going to ask.</div><div><br></div><div>What are the plastic bits that are on the back of the F Type at the bottom of the back wheel arch outside. They do look like a large clear plaster.</div><div><br></div><div>Do they need to stay on or can I peel them off.</div><div><br></div><div>I have looked recently at a F Type in the showroom the other day but everyone was busy to ask why they are there and what are they for. Do they protect stone chipping in that area?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div><div><br></div><div>Kimmy<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley24.gif" border="0" alt="Ermm" title="Ermm" /><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley24.gif" border="0" alt="Ermm" title="Ermm" /></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

Hi Kimmy,<br>They are there to try to protect the paintwork from being chipped by stones thrown up by the front tyres. In my opinion the patch is too small. They should have made it quite a bit bigger.<br>

Thank you. <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" alt="Thumbs Up" title="Thumbs Up" />
