On-board computer information

Did a three hundred Mile day out yesterday in the other halves Mercedes 200 slk. When we got back the computer showed how long we had been driving on the day, what the mpg had been and what the average speed was on the day. The car also shows the same information ongoing or since reset.<br />Made me wonder whether the f type shows a similar summary?<br />Had a quick mess about looking for it using the menus this morning but couldn't see anything similar.<br />Does anyone know whether we have this sort of info on our f types?<br />Thanks
 
You have all this on the Jaguar Remote app, where you can also see a map of where the car has been, get directions to the vehicle, lock/unlock remotely, start the car to get the heating going etc. I think this only came in on the MY16 cars though.
 
You're absolutely right, forgot all about the app! <br />This gives all the information as you say.<br />What happens when the app finishes after the three year warranty period though?<br />Guess you have to pay to continue to have it??<br />So, guessing the actual cars computer (not the app) doesn't show similar summaries to that of the merc?
 
You do get that information from the cars computer. You can toggle that information with a press on the button on top of the left "stalk".<br /><br />What information you want it to show can be chosen in one of the menues (can't remember which?).
 
MY16 journey history can be viewed via the phone app or through login on jaguar.co.uk. Can be dowloaded to PC if necessary.
