Hi everyone,<div> </div><div>I hope it is ok that I join this Nice F-type forum, as there are no Norwegian forums where I can meet fellow F-type owner and exchange experience, news and advices.</div><div> </div><div>Cars are high taxed in Norway (specially those With high bhp / CO2 numbers), and I could not afford a brand new F-type R, so I found a nice second hand in Germany (there are no for sale second hand in Norway as there are only sold one or two new R's) which matched the color, options and low milage that I was after.</div><div> </div><div>I picked it up tuesday last week in Hamburg, and drove it 1.100 km back home. That was a very nice trip in a fantastic car that even had seats With a Comfort that exceeded my expectations! Thanks for the welcome!<br /><br />I am new to not only the F-type but also Jaguars in general, so I have a lot to learn. <br /><br />It's me you spotted in the US forum Tel. That was the first "active" F-type related forum I found when I was looking for a second hand F-type, and I was trying to learn if there were anything I should be aware of. Not shure if there are any differences between US and European specked cars, but so far I have not found anything (except for the yellow indicator lights and the UK cars with tge steering wheel on the "wrong" side <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> )<br /><br />I am very happy with my car, and the only thing I have found that don't work properly is the center vent that not always moves down when it shall. However the workshop/dealer in Norway told me there is a service bulletin on that and they will fix it when the car goes in for service in two weeks time.<br /><br />Everything else works just as it should, and I am also very happy with the Meridian 770W sound system. And it pulls and drive like a proper sportscar, where you need to handle the throttle with some care in the first 3 gears.<br /><br />The first owner had specked the car with more or less all options, so I am very happy with that as well.<br /><br />I will have some good pics taken when the car is at the detailer, and display them here when it's done. The IRR can be tricky to get good pictures of that really shows how it appears in real life, but I will see what can be done.
