Recently bought a 3L V6 17 Plate in ultra blue, As pretty as the car is to look at I unfortunately never even made it all of the 50 miles home before that lovely shiny EML popped up to say hello, (yayyy)

Ran it through a scanner we have and get two codes P0142 & P0055, suggesting a faulty o2 sensor post cat in bank 1, sensor 3,
I am sure alot of people may already be familiar with my lovely new digits as it seems to be a common issue ?

Would someone be kind enough to help me find the right part number for this sensor ? or kindly point me in a direction of how i can find the right part number ? It would be greatly appreciated and many virtual fist bumps sent in your direction!

Two more things,
1 - Can anyone recommend a nice aftermarket exhaust for the V6 ? (Presuming i havent bought an grenade with no pin for an engine)
2 - What the hell is deal with the 17 place specifications, previous owner advised me there was no S specs for the 17 plates, so they are all base spec is that right ? if so how much of a deal is it to get it mapped to the 380 on the S' ?

Hi Colin, and welcome.

If it’s a MY18 car you can get the 400 Sport map here…

As far as I know there was always a down tuned 340 version and a 380 version (with additional features like the LSD and adaptive dampers) but the 380 tuned version has been called different things during different model years. At first it was the S (which was a bit confusing early on when there was also a V8 S), then P380.

Could be market specific, but oddly enough my MY18 facelift car never was labeled neither as S or P380, just as a 380 hp R-Dynamic.

If you have a base car, go for a remap. That usually brings it up to about 415 horses. That's a simple matter which doesn't cost much and just unlocks the engine's natural power. Sounds like you bought it privately and don't have any warranty to worry about.

Oooh even better, nice extra 40+ British ponies,
Dropped this LR retrofits a message on their 400 Sport Map.

Any advice on best place to pick up parts ? (I.e this pesky o2 sensor)
