Just a quick hello to the forum. Just took ownership of a 2013 F-type S Convertible 5.0 V8 in Satellite Grey. I'm impressed with it! <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><div></div><div>One immediate question that hopefully someone can help with. Soft top was wet this morning and when I tried to lower the roof - it wouldn't. Side windows came down little by little but that's it. Worked fine yesterday so wondering whether there is a system restriction from stowing the hood when wet? </div><div> </div><div>Thanks </div><div> </div><div>Jon</div>

That's a new one on me Jon. My gut feeling is that the wet has caused a break in the electrical circuit somewhere rather than anything else, but maybe someone with more experience/knowledge will chime in shortly.<br><br>Can you make the windows go back up using the roof switch?<br><br>Apart from taking it back to the dealers, I would perhaps wait for the car to dry out a little and try it again.<br><br>Oh yes...One final thing. Was the engine running when you hit the switch? If the battery is low, the hood won't operate. It will try to save whats left in the battery to start the engine.<br>

Yes, definitely not the wet, I've been using mine recently no probs and its tipping it down at times.
