Hi, Just saying hello as a newbie member. I recently purchased the V6S in Italian Racing Red which I will post some pictures up in the Gallery section in due course.<div>I traded my Red V8 XKR convertible which I had 4 glorious years driving. I did want a V8 F Type but just couldn't find any out there with the spec I wanted, I had been looking for 6 months and settled for the V6s which everyone tells me is the correct choice ?</div><div>Looking forward to posting questions and answers as I get to know my F Type :)</div>

Hi Stuart and welcome to the F-Type Owners Club!<div><br></div><div>Not sure about the V6S being the correct choice, they are two different beasts completely. </div><div>Having driven both on track and had both long term on the road, I found the V6S great, but lacking the torque and enthusiasm of the V8S which is to be expected. The V8S sounds totally different as well.</div><div><br></div><div>Look forward to seeing the photos in the pictures section.</div><div><br></div>

For me the v6s is definitely the right choice :) driven both back to back including weekend hires and the v8 is just a bit -everything- for a daily driver. Its licence loosing before you get to the best of the fun and coming out of a fairly lightweight vehicle was a bit of a beast weight wise too + the noise while interesting is not a standard v8 rumble and wasn't for me. the v6s is fun all the time everywhere - that's why it took 2 days to notice ours was stuck in dynamic ;) jess

Just couldn't agree more guys. The V6s really is the best all round car for the best of all worlds.Great choice.
