Just acquired an almost new car.Are there any issues in the 2013 roadsters that members have seen.My electric for and aft seat adjuster has failed on driver and passenger seats.Other seat systems are ok.

What seats does it have? <br /><br />The standard partial electric seats are completely undermined by the lack of electric slide forwards/backwards. The one thing that's actually dangerous to adjust manually on a seat whilst moving is sliding along the rails!<br /><br />The best feature about all 3 jags I've had has been their mile eating ability, based on (fully) electric seats and being able to alter driving position on the move (and therefore avoid backache after a few hours), and cruise control. Neither are standard on an entry F-Type, but you have to upgrade to the very expensive memory pack to get a seat you can adjust on the move!

Welcome to the forum Brian !<div><br></div><div>I have the full sports seats but without the memory pack, on reflection I should have gone for it, but as OneJag says it is very expensive for what it is. The moving of the seat on the slide rails is almost certainly something you should do when parked !</div><div><br></div><div>All that said however, I have not had any problems,</div><div><br></div><div>Let see some pictures of your new baby Brian !!</div><div><br></div><div>Best Regards</div><div>Jamie</div>

Hello Brian and welcome to the forums...<div><br></div><div>I was under the impression that the fwd/aft was mechanical via a pull 'toggle' from under the seat...unless you are speaking about the 'back-rest' part.</div><div><br></div><div>First step: If any of the controls cease working is to hold the appropriate button for two seconds or longer to reset the motor.<br><div><br></div><div>You might want to check the fuses (I'm not sure if they are on a separate circuit to the rest of the seat?)</div><div><br></div><div>I haven't seen any problems personally, but there are known fixes on knocky rear suspension and noisy superchargers if it is the 'S' model.</div></div><div><br></div><div>I'm glad I went for the full monty...I'm getting older and things start to ache a bit more! I will pay the extra for added comfort.</div><div><br></div><div>What spec/colour F do you have?</div>
