Hi everyone,

I've spent the past four months regularly visiting the site and reading all the news whilst waiting for my vehicle to be built. Three weeks ago I finally got my hands on my R Coupe AWD - Storm Grey/Black Pack. The colour was a bit of a gamble - as I obviously couldn't see any in the showroom. Come the big day, I still wasn't sure if I'd made the right choice - the colour changes quite significantly depending on the light and the showroom lighting definitely didn't help!. Anyway I've just had it detailed by Paul Dalton - who's done a brilliant job bringing the colour to life - now I'm VERY happy! Here's a pic of the car after Paul has finished his work. Here's hoping for plenty of sunny weekends before the winter sets in - happy driving everyone!

Welcome to the F-Type Owners Club!

Looks lovely - Can we see some more pictures of Pauls wonderful work?

Welcome to the club , storm grey looks great would to see a picture side on. What are the wheels?

Look like the diamond-turned/black 20" Gyrodynes but with a background light reflecting off them (giving the red sheen, which you can also see on front of car).

Looks very good indeed though!!

Hi Alasdair, Captainham is correct! I really fancied the 20" Storm back and polished - but couldn't justify the cost of the ceramic brakes that came with them! Here's a 3/4 shot taken this evening with the light fading - so the metallic glint drops away. It really is a car of many shades, looking almost a bronzy grey in bright sunlight and then a dark inky blue grey when it's dull.

Hi Tel, sure thing. Paul has taken some shots of the car and will send them over during the next few days. He's also taken a short video as well, so I'll post a link if it's not possible to upload it onto the forum. If he's willing to share, I'll get a product list and post it in the detailing section.
