My lovely (ish) F type V8S: <div><br></div><div><img src="https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/11214180_10153429944657579_3006972505226873159_n.jpgoh=3f91680dfda344cf0dd18b513a008d04&ampampoe=562C3DF9" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div>With amazing economy...<br><br><img src="https://scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xft1/v/t1.0-9/11698468_10153456081362579_6841398204299546938_n.jpg" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div><span style="line-height: 16.7999992370605px;">Has had a defect since I collected it. </span>A torn seat.<div><br></div><div>Its now being 6 weeks now and still no booking to rectify it. Coventry Jag just dragged their feet, I've now being passed to Milton Keynes Jag which are going through an ownership change so are also dragging their feet... </div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y87/ClioValver/IMG_3047.jpg" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div>Also none of my steering wheel controls work and Jag don't seem to think this is an urgent problem either. </div></div><div><br></div><div>Good car, let down by the dealers!</div>

I think you'll find a number of us on this forum have concerns about our dealers. It seems to be a weak link in the Jaguar chain.<br />

I feel your pain. The main dealer I am working with is pretty shocking, and I havent even got the car yet!<br><br>It took 2 months to get the order placed, I had to send emails 3times before any response or acknowledgement, every time i sent them one. Then no acknowledgement that the paperwork had been received or the order placed, still waiting for this, let alone an estimated build date.<br><br>Such a lovely car, ruined by the fact I feel as if ive had to force myself on the dealer just to place an order, surely for this amount of money, they should be happy to make the procedure effortless?!<br><br>Needless to say, once the car arrives, I wont be touching peterborough Marshalls with a barge pole :/<br>

likewise - Stratstone in Wolverhampton - top drawer - I've had Mercs and BMW's from various dealers over the years and by coincedence my perception has been that the dealers have been disinterested in their customers and invariably very expensive - <div> </div><div>the Jag team in Wolverhampton are very good - stating the obvious but good dealers are all about the local management rather than a more general problem </div>

Hi Waitey<div><br></div><div>I have sent you a PM, please check your inbox.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards</div><div><br></div><div>Ryan</div>

If it's any consolation, our dealer damaged the seat (5mm cut on passenger base) whilst rectifying misaligned trim on a brand new car on the pick up day!<div><br><div>We ordered a new one under warranty....that was back in May....surprised to say that Westover in Bournemouth never got back to us...</div></div>

Hi Tel<div><br></div><div>Thank you for your post.</div><div><br></div><div>I note your comments and am sorry to learn of the apparent lack of contact from your retailer regarding your concerns. Please accept my apologies for this. </div><div><br></div><div>Should you wish for me to look into this I would be grateful if you are able to provide the following information via PM;</div><div><br></div><div><div>Your full name</div><div>Telephone number</div><div>Email address</div><div>Vehicle registration</div><div>Last 6 of VIN</div><div><br></div></div><div>Regards</div><div><br></div><div>Ryan</div><div><br></div>

<blockquote>Lancaster(Sidcup) have been fine so far if that's of any help to anyone.</blockquote>
<div><br></div><div>Good to hear - thats who I'm planning to buy from early 2016!</div>

We had Marshal Peterborough do a warranty supercharger change and they did not fit a water hose correctly causing us to break down !!!! Car now stinks of antifreeze all the time :-(

Not got my V6S yet (only 2 more weeks to go!), but good service from Guy Salmon Thames Ditton so far.<div><br></div><div>Order placed in a timely fashion, keeping me updated, in the process of sending through all the registration paperwork, etc.</div><div><br></div><div>Nothing to make me doubt them yet, that's for sure.</div>

Yup - dealers generally letting down Jag.<div><br></div><div>Mine told me that all Jags had panel mis-match colours as it was not possible to paint plastic and metal the same colour. Utter rubbish of course - as a Jag engineer told me (and the dealer). Now been told my awful DAB reception is caused by poor signal on the M5 .. odd that my XF and two XK's (plus dealer loan XJ) never had the issue. </div><div><br></div><div>[sigh]</div>

my DAB signal in my 2013 plate ftype is fantastic... however I was lent a 2015 AWD ftype for 5 weeks whilst mine was having a new engine fitted and reception was rubbish.. couldnt pick stations up , would get it tuned in , then switch the car off.. next day just the sound of silence.. had to keep re-searching to get the station back (i.e. radio 1 / radio 2).. to be honest found the new "updated" info system on the 2015 model quite clumsy compared to the older 2013 system<div></div><div> </div>

Could it have something With the DAB settings to do?<div> </div><div>I remember when I picked up my car in Germany, I had to set the DAB system to which country I was in. I forgot to do that when entering Denmark and I got some of the same "symptoms" described above.</div><div> </div><div>When I changed the settings to the correct country and did a station search, everything worked well. Lost the stations again when entering Sweden. They don't have DAB, so I had to tune in to the FM-band/stations.</div><div> </div><div>When I got to Norway I did the same procedure once more (starting with telling the system which country I was in), and got all the DAB stations up and stored where I wanted them.</div><div> </div><div>And the reception of the DAB-signal seems to be very good. We have a short tunnel close to where I live, and in some previous cars I have had some drop outs when going through the tunnel (VW Tiguan and Touareg). With my F-type there are no drop outs (15 model R coupe).</div>
