The maps display on my car is very dark as in the colours of the roads being in red, I would prefer the road colour in blue as most Sat navy, can it be changed?
I've checked the handbook but can't find any reference.

On mine, red roads indicate very heavy or stationary traffic, yellow for heavy traffic and green for free flowing traffic. Black indicates closed roads. I have an idea there's also a night mode that might dull the display, but I can't find any reference to that in my handbook.
 
Just checked - Settings -> General -> Display gives me three options - Auto, Light and Dark. Maybe yours is set to Dark? Assuming it's the same as the MY18, of course ....
