Leather treatment

Any tips on leather treatment? I applied some leather cream to the seats, dash and doors but they just repel what I put on.

Think there is a thread about this already. In a nutshell the leather has a coating which is extremely thin but hard wearing. Just clean it with a very mild detergent or just a damp cloth or use a leather cleaner that you like the smell of as that is all it will do.
