Had the car serviced back in February and it’s came back with most of its pops and bangs gone!! It’s a 2013 5.0 v8s and it used to pop and bang at the slightest lift of throttle, it’s a make me happy car and those pops and bangs added to the theatre so I’m missing them like crazy. Now i have came across a post about jaguar doing a update without telling you and that it made your exhaust quieter but eventually the exhaust noise does come back. I’m now few months in and nothing has came back yet! There was a service note saying the active exhaust is stuck, though they never mentioned in the open or closed position. Is there a way you can see the valves to check?
