Jaguar OEM F-Type Car Cover

I use a car cover on my F-Type - it;s the jaguar OEM cover - which TBH does get wet so i cover the cover with a cheap non oem cover to keep it dry(ish)

anyway question is does anyone see an issue with using a cover in the long term
 
Obviously the car is outside so you have to ensure the cover is tightly secured as the paintwork is subject to chaffing due to the wind causing the cover to rub against the paint. You should also watch out for dampness. You should also use a battery conditioner ie Ctek as I assume the car is not going to be used very often.
Have you considered a Carcoon for long term protection?
 
yes car not used that often

have to say oem cover is a snug fit and is pretty non abrasive and very soft on inside almost like a polishing mit
will take a loom at a carcoon
