I started my hunt for the F type two years ago but house moves job changes all got in the way and I was resigned to waiting until the winter to find the right one. However on Thursday a lovely 2016 Jaguar F type v6 s with RWD popped up fo sale in Mansfield in carpathian grey with ivory interior performance seats, memory pack , auto fold mirrors, clean MOT history and a full Jaguar service history! So I took the decision to buy a convertible in the summer and persuaded a friend to drive me up from Surrey to collect it at the weekend.
The car was beautiful the only fault was the centre console mechanism making a noise when locking and the dealer would pay for that to be fixed locally so I bought on the day and gave the car a gentle 150 mile shakedown home.
It’s awesome I’m so pleased I bought it and think this will be will be with me for some time!
Next steps the car needs a service so will have to decide if now is the time to take it to a specialist rather than main dealer my local JLR is close in sunbury or find a good local specialist then perhaps in future add an Apple car play mod.
