Interior mod : phone stash on two sides

Two days ago I decided to close the cover of the central cup holder, with my phone inside.. It moved around while driving and ended up behind the cupholders, vertically, where the cover goes when opened..

Havoc .. ..couldn't open the lid and not get at my phone either.. Luckily a 'lean fingered' lady was around who thought of putting a finger of each hand on top/bottom of the phone and got it out !

So : DO NOT STASH YOUR PHONE ON THE CUP HOLDERS AND CLOSE IT !!!

To remedy this, and find a better solution, I sourced - weeks ago already- some nets with our chinese friends :

Together with two usb-cables I now have on both sides a phone stash and link to usb...

12 days to me... But discovered a little knack : surface isn't flat so tape comes unstuck in one corner after a while..
Not sure if I should tiny screws in.. ..wholes remain visible when removed..

Could be that the tape glue comes unstuck when the car interior gets hot in the sun.
I have found that various phone and GPS holder mods have fallen off in hot weather.
