Hi Guys
For anyone who is interested in replacing the entire system, do it!!! I have just had mine replaced with a Audison Thesis and Herts Mile Legend system. The whole interior has been soundproofed with custom tweeter pods plus two subs behind the seats with Thesis 6.5 Sax in factory door positions, but overall I was trying to keep a understated/stock look. The whole process of the build was on YouTube. The sound is now amazing using Tidal streaming Master uncompressed quality through Apple Car Play. If anybody wants to watch links below:

Looks like a great job! What was the total cost and time spent for this upgrade?

The car was with the installers for about a month. Audison Thesis range of speakers is one of the best out there and has been fitted in many top cars (Shmee150’s Mercedes SLS Black and loads of Lambos) but does come at a cost! Plus the addition of 50 sheets of Skinz 3mm soundproofing, amps, processor and the whole system being time aligned via Bit Tune software and then tweaked by ear to give the best sound possible in such a small cabin. There is also a DRC controller in the armrest pocket which allows you to have preset sound levels for when the roof is up or down. The whole system was around £12k but if you like music on longer trips as well as the sound of a V8 I think it is worth it.

I don’t suppose you know the cost for just sound proofing from them? My 20 inch wheels and 305 rubber makes it impossible to use hands free on motorways so wonder if that would help enough?

Tbf it's easy enough to do some sound proofing yourself if you can take the rear trim out. I've done it myself with some sound proofing over the rear arches and boot space.. reduces tyre noise etc. Approx £50 on materials and some time.
