Hi from Jersey

Not so new as owned since August 2014. As all of you say what a fabulous experience it is to own an F-type (previously owned an XF). So rewarding. Only a few of us here on the island of Jersey at present but we attract plenty of attention (both looks and sound) both here and also following the short ferry ride across the water to France, where we have been down to the Loire Vally and close to La Rochelle. Visits to service stations are an experience due to the significant attention attracted but at least a chance to get the spoiler up on the road (40mph speed limit in Jersey!) in France. Two trips of 500 miles each now under the belt with second trip earlier this month more interesting as fully run in, although getting on and off the ferry each time re front spoiler requires real care ! Really appreciate all the input and comment on the forum whichhas been useful to feed back to Jersey Jaguar when required, who incidentally are excellent.<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/488/image.jpg" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Hi Nev, and welcome to the FTOC.<div><br></div><div>Lovely looking colour combination F. </div><div><br></div><div>Must be hard though not to give it a squirt with a 40mph limit!</div><div><br></div><div>Yep, I learnt the hard way....ALWAYS drive diagonally if you can across any dips or humps!</div>
