Please explain the cold airflow, i.e where it is being fitted because as I see it you'd be struggling with very high IAT's with this setup. How will the carbon tubes reflect the high ambient temp within the engine bay?
Can you also give some company details, location URL etc?
Maybe it's the angle or a prototype piece, but the carbon layup looks shoddy to me.
Once you get your carbon weave layout sorted I think it may be a good alternative to Mina's.

This is nothing like the project 8 intake piping .
I specifically designed this intake system with different aspects and materials. It's not made with plastic. Or any riggets silencers or 2 to 1 elbows.... this intake plenum has no restrictions claps or additional adapters.. its 100% full flowing air intake system. This is not just a filter upgrade like ITG MAXOGENS . That you did.
With a MINA'S Intake system u still have to add additional adapters for the sensors. Again nothing like the Mina's intake . My system is designed to have sensors right into the plenum.
U also asked about IAT'S. I WILL EXPLAIN.
JAGUAR VEHICLES equipped with the 5.0 sc engine are designed to be quite even tho these engines are not . But jaguar is a luxury market so they want fast but quite and classy vehicles. Therefor silencers and noise restrictions are all over the vehicle. From foam jackets over the loud mechanical feul pumps to restrictions in intake plenums.. I have removed the unnecessary things I seen I didn't want like under carage plastic noise restrictions. That also trap heat under the bonnet. . They intake system I designed is not for me to sell to the public this is 1 of 1 alot of engineering and time was put into this system.
The Carbon and 6160 aluminum. Combination I use also has a purpose. To extract heat in the plenum and out side the plenum. It's not just for looks altho I do love working with carbon some galleys are made flex carbon materials. Also why the wev designed I used v shap to look nice when your standing in front of the car. I don't want carbon just going one way . It has to weave nice not just lay Down nice it looks great In person on the car especially with all the other carbon fiber part that I also designed for this build

Your picture showed a simple T design into the plenum with pleated filters each end, identical to the P8 with the exception of the materials.

JLR uses two types of sound restriction on the manifold, neither of which restrict flow at all.
Firstly are Holtz quarter wave resonators for the high pitch whine, the second are Broadband resonators for the induction roar.
Can you explain what you mean by riggets and claps?

Your explanation doesn't make any sense to me. I asked how you fed your system with cold air to keep the IAT's low so as not so suck in hot air. Removing the lower plastic work and foam will not be sufficient and doesn't duct air to the filters where it is needed to maintain ambient IAT.

I can't make any sense of your statements; Carbon doesn't provide any heat insulation, and Aluminium is an excellent conductor of heat, which pretty much does the opposite of keeping heat away from the inlet plenum.
Would be good if you could repost the picture (and may be more) and I would like to still understand how you feed cold air to the filters - via duct's perhaps?
FWIW - My Maxogen ITG setup is feed with cold air via two cold air tubes that route behind the bumper and feed directly onto the filter, and from my in car logs the IAT's are staying low.
They most probably don't add a single HP (I don't need it), but I did it merely to increase the SC whine noise. I also blocked off the high frequency Holtz resonators.

Repost the picture you deleted so I can compare the two.
You haven't explained anything about your system after I asked some pretty straightforward questions, you have just re-quoted my post.
I don't understand your system, you are correct, that's why I asked the questions.
Even if I had no web site...
If I'd made something like this, I wouldn't have posted a picture with little or no text, then deleted it, and failed to answer some questions.
Where's the sense in that?
