Fuel Filler

I’ve noticed recently that when I open the filler flap, the the plastic section around the metal filler tube ( ie the whole black plastic section) is very loose, but I can’t see a way to secure it to the body.

I’m sure it was quite secure in the past, but I might be wrong. Once the flap is closed it seems fine.

Any ideas?

Mine is secure, think it may be stuck in place similar to the rubber rainwater troughs around the rear hatch opening.
