Foose design E Type

Oh my! That is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful colour. Love the wheels. The attention to detail is incredible.

Isn't it just.

The hand made screen surround - wow.

Thought the wires were too resto-mod large at first - then saw they were billet - and with the extended side skirts they do work.

Although just a bit too much 1955 Thunderbird with the eggcrate grille and bonnet scoop for me.

I'd still have it though!

Wonder how many hours went into it with the design and build - worth it to create such automotive art.

He clearly understood the task he was taking on with such an icon and has approached it with great empathy and skill.

Do we know what they did with the engine? - also part of the iconic status but he often swaps them out.

It wouldn't really suit the brutal character of a 575ps Jag V8, but maybe an inline Ingenium i6 would be a contemporary take on it.

Looks like it would suit the bonnet bulge too.

Hmm - not overly convinced by his explanation for the Chevy and auto-trans. - although the 270Kg weight saving over the front axle must be handy!

But then I guess who would want to look at a Jag V6 / V8 without its engine cover - possibly the ugliest motor I've come across

I was a proud owner of a 1970 4.2 series 2 drop head back in 1974 & can relate to this. Stunning. Not sure about the scoop in front of the bonnet bulge. But a work of art for sure.
Steve.

Foose is a design legend in this space and this is up there with his best. I love it
Funny how several of us see the same question marks around the grille and scoop. Aside that perfect

Not a cheap project for the owner...
