Fitting front registration plate

Hi,

I am travelling so can't check but doesn't anyone know whether the front registration plate of the F-Type needs holes drilled on the top rather than centered on the plate (as they are normally) to fit on to the car?

Mine are centred either end

No it doesn't.
Both my front and rear plate are held on with 3m sticky pads as I didn't want the front plynth nor the plates permanently drilled.

My front plate has holes nearer to the top. So guess many are different, depends on the original supplying dealer as to where they drill them or if they use double sided pads.

Mine are drilled at the top; but I'm not sure it matters really

Mine's drilled along the centre about 2cm in from the edge.
